Hendren (1)Elizabeth Hendren is an attorney at Northwest Justice Project working on the Reentry Initiated through Services and Education (RISE) Project, which she developed to assist poor and low-income formerly incarcerated mothers with the wide range of civil legal issues that need to be resolved in order for them to reunite with their children post-incarceration. As a law student, she co-founded the Incarcerated Mothers Advocacy Project (IMAP), which provides legal information to mothers in and recently released from prison. Upon her graduation from law school, she received the 2012 Seattle University Leadership for Justice Fellowship to implement RISE Project at Northwest Justice Project.
