~1438971618~Dennis_22Dennis has more than 30 years of successful experience in organization design; human resources; and, training and development in a variety of industries: financial, healthcare, retail, hospitality, manufacturing and government.

He currently owns his own business management consulting firm, Workplace Innovations LLC providing HR and organization development assistance to business and non-profits.

He has been privileged to contribute to the success of well established companies including Nordstrom, REI, Premera Blue Cross and PACCAR.  He has assisted with the creation of new organizations: NYLCare (a healthcare subsidiary of New York Life) and Dragon Pizza (a franchise of 18 restaurants in California and Washington).  He also served as Washington State business liaison connecting Washington businesses to the Governor’s WorkFirst (welfare to work) initiative and WorkSource (the state’s one-stop career system).

Since 1986, Dennis has continuously served as a volunteer on several advisory committees and boards including: Vice president of the National Employer Council, WA State Job Training Coordinating Council, the Governor’s taskforce on funding for families and children, the governor’s taskforce on workforce development, USDOL taskforce on business engagement, the Seattle Private Industry Council, Co-chair of WA Business-Labor taskforce on implementation of WIA, Washington Works, and as chair of the Tacoma-Pierce County Workforce Development Council.

He completed his B.A. at the University of Santa Clara and graduate work in education and organizational development at San Jose State University, University of Nebraska Omaha and University of Michigan.
